Grupo B&B is an exceptional family band based out of Bryan, Texas. Vocalist, Bren Ocañez was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. She grew up around music her whole life. Her parents are Ester Ramírez and Felipe Ramírez. Her father, Felipe, played bass in a band with her uncle.

Having an interest in music herself, Ocañez began singing at the age of 10. On Sundays, you would often find her singing at church. At the age of 16, Ocañez was invited up on stage one night to sing a song accompanied by Los Hermanos Farias. That night, Ocañez impressed her father with her vocal ability so much so that her father, Felipe, suggested to her uncle that she join their group. By the time Brenda was 20, her father broke away from her uncle's group and decided to form his own. Brenda y los Latinos consisted of Brenda on lead vocals, her father on bass, her mother on segunda voz, and her brother, Jesse, on accordion and keyboard.

At the age of 27, Brenda's father encouraged her to start writing her own original material and that's exactly what she did. The first song she ever penned was titled "Te Quiero." Over the years, Brenda has shared the stage with numerous Tejano music heavy hitters such as Los Hermanos Farias, the Hometown Boys, and Jimmy Gonzalez. She has even shared the stage with one of her musical idols on more than one occasion, Elida Reyna. Besides Elida, Ocañez's musical influences include Patsy Torres, Elsa Garcia, and Lisa Lopez.

In 2009, Ocañez's father passed away and Brenda y Los Latinos stopped performing for some time. Years later, Ocañez and her brother would have a chance meeting that would change the course of their lives. Ocañez and her brother are past paticipants of the Austin Tejano Music Coalition's Tejano Idol contest. Their performances caught the eye of Hacienda Records reps in attendance. They were given a card, and both contacted the label soon after. 

Grupo B&B is currently signed to Hacienda Records (Corpus Christi, TX) on a 1-year contract. Grupo B&B consists of Brenda (Lead Vocals), Mike (Bass), her brother Jesse (Accordion & Keyboard), her brother Baby J (Segunda Voz) and Ocañez's son, Fabian (Drums). Grupo B&B are currently recording the original material they've written. The band's first single is out now and is titled "Te Quiero."
