Rancho Alegre Radio and AustinVida's Sunday Tardeada series continues at One-2-One Bar on September 17th with one of San Antonio's best-kept secrets: Mark Weber y Los Cuernos!
A good way to describe Mark is one-half Valerio Longoria (his teacher), one-half Buck Owens (not his teacher) and one-half Will Rogers (also not his teacher). There's a lot to Mark Weber: three halves to be precise.
This will be Mark and the guys' first solo show in Austin, after comin' out swingin' at their Austin debut at the Rancho Alegre Conjunto Festival at Stubbs at Cinco de Mayo and opening for the late great Nick Villarreal at his final performance at the Moose Lodge in July.
Coming along for the ride will be Los Cuernos, a group of seasoned San Antonio veterans who have played with all the greats (seriously, you name em, they've backed them at some point).
Mark will also have copies of his latest CD, "Moonshine & Mexicans" for sale too!
$7 cover, doors open at 5:30pm, music from 6 to 8pm, plenty of free parking, kids under 18 welcome with adult.
Come join us and see what everyone's talking about!
