Roger Arocha is one of Conjunto's brightest talents and is backed by some of the best players in the San Antonio area. The band's sound is among the most traditional of all the groups currently playing and remains fiercely loyal to the style of Don Santiago Jimenez, Sr., who was Roger's accordion teacher.

That's right: Roger learned from one of the pioneers himself, an honor he proudly carries with him to every performance and every recording. Without Don Santiago Jimenez, there is no conjunto as we know it, especially in San Antonio. Roger Arocha y Su Conjunto pay homage to this legend every time they take the stage.

Speaking of recordings, Roger and the guys just won "Album of the Year" at the South Texas Conjunto Association Awards and are already working on a follow up to "Canciones Queridas."
