Frank Reflects and Looks to the Future

So as a lot of you may know, I have been ill since last year, and I am improving, with the hopes that by December of 2011 I will be back in action. A lot of people doubt me when I say that I have changed, from a party hungry maniac who lives for the day and could care less about tomorrow.

I have changed, I changed the way I eat, treat people, I am more compassionate, I do not let money rule my life, I quit gambling, I quit drinking, went on a diet, I am working out, I mended all the bad relationships I had with my family and friends, I go to church as often as I can, and I try not to get angry.

But for those of you who claim to be Christians, sing in the choir at church, claim to be a better person than I am, let me ask you…when was the last time you went to the ER and ICU in a hospital and prayed with people who needed it? When was the last time you offered to volunteer your time to help repair equipment for the sick? When was the last time you did anything for your fellow man, who in faith is God’s child and our brother?

In my life I have been the worse a person can be, and the best a person can be. I smoked the best marijuana, did the lines of cocaine, shot heroin, drank beer, liquor, drove to all parts of Texas for little to no money to play music, was a womanizer, I messed with married women, did all the things a sinner could do. On the flip side, I donated to the local food bank, donated to the local soup kitchen, never turned down a benefit for anyone, always gave when I could, and I will continue to improve myself, as my goal is to get to heaven, just to be able to see my family who have passed, especially my mother.

My opinions are my own, I believe in what I believe in. I believe that abortion is wrong, but I believe anyone who has an abortion will work it out with God, and they cannot be judged by any of us. I believe in gay rights, and gays should be allowed to get married. I believe that if a man wants to live his life as a woman or vice versa he or she should be allowed. I do not believe in the death penalty. I believe that torture should never be allowed. I do not believe war is the answer to everything. I do not agree how Mexican immigrants are treated in this country.

I have kissed and been in the arms of some beautiful women, and I have also kissed the lips of a dear friend on his death bed dying of AIDS. We are all God’s children in my book.

I must be who I am and accept it, I will always be a man who loves to see beautiful women, loves his heritage, loves his family and friends, loves his music, and loves being an American.

If you still don’t believe I have changed for the best…well you are entitled to what you believe. You say tomotto and I say FUCK YOU! I may have changed, but that does not mean I will take your shit, and if you do not give me the respect that I give you, I will call you out on it, and even though I have been told that one wrong hit to the head can permanently blind me, I will take my chances and attempt to break off a piece of your ass.

My eulogy will read:

A MAN WHO LOVED LIFE, AND LIVED IT TO THE FULLEST, DID EVERY DIRTY CHEAP THING EVER KNOWN TO MAN, AND DID EVERY GOOD THING HE POSSIBLY COULD, HE WAS THE KING OF HIS OWN UNIVERSE, GOT HIS MASTERS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF JALAPENO, AND HIS PHD IN THE UNIVERSITY OF SEXUAL PERVERSITY, HE LOVED HIS WOMEN AND POSSIBLY YOURS TOO, DRESSED TO THE NINES, ALWAYS SAID IT IS NO SHAME TO BE POOR, ONLY TO DRESS POORLY, AND LOVED ALL OF YOU.
